Height restrictions limited \"The Octopus\" to less matches than he would have liked in the past few seasons, but it would appear that a winter spent stood in a grow bag has rejuvenated one of the club\'s best fielders. Pre-season nets confirmed that Matt has a real eye for the ball when batting, it also confirmed that the corrugated iron at the end of the Bexley Grammar school sports hall is torpedo and rocket proof, albeit now has a few more dents and red marks.
Matt will be looking to take this prowess in the nets and convert it into runs on the field - so opposition bowlers and fielders (and female supporters) - BEWARE!
