Bernie joined Eltham in the 2014 season as a guest player due to his connection with Pete Swain. Since then he has become a fairly regular player and a very useful one for any Eltham skipper. Not only is he a handy lower order batsman but with his aggressive off-spin bowling he has a habit of picking up important wickets.
Bernie is also very useful to know when Eltham are short as he is the head of a burgeoning sporting dynasty - both Charlie and George Boylan have turned out for the club at short notice and are decent (if youthful) players in their own right who we hope to get playing more for us in the future.
Bernie's Eltham all-time stats:
Inns | NO | Runs | HS | Ave | Overs | Maidens | Runs | Wickets | Ave | Catches | Stumpings |
24 | 4 | 161 | 37 | 8.05 | 212 | 26 | 856 | 36 | 23.78 | 4 | 0 |
Note: These stats cover the period 2014-2020.
