Match report Eltham CC Vs Brockenhurst CC

Eltham's first tour match was sadly cancelled due to extremely heavy rain the night before. In the event, the day was a scorcher, so the Eltham team and WAGs got their collective booties down to Avon beach, where they played beach cricket, tag rubgy and beach volleyball. Will Bisley even went for a swim, which was brave of him in the circumstances. A great afternoon was had by all.

The evening was spent by most of the Club at what turned out to be the most surreal quiz night ever attended by your correspondent. With only ten questions spanning the entire quiz, punctuated by extremely loud music, it wasn't the sort of quiz that eltham were destined to do well at - even though Gary Bill did know the phone number for a "Quiz Cheatline"!

Mind you, the DJ did play a song for Will for his birthday, mentioing his earlier dip in the sea, which went down a treat.
