Match report Eltham CC Vs Ide Hill CC

Following the pullout by Old Pilots on Wednesday, with five players, we were fortunate to find that Ide Hill, who hammered us at the start of the season, were looking for a game and happy to travel to Fortress Footscray.

Notable things from this game included Brad getting the wicket of the dangerous Pete Calthorpe before he'd got going, Vinay Gupta's debut (and first boundaries and wickets, suggesting plenty more to come), two catches for Swainy, three wickets for Colin who finally found a turning wicket to equal indoor nets, and parsimonious bowling from Bulpitt after a brutal 69 when we batted.

The only negative in this game was r Bulpitt calling Vinay "My cousin...", proving that he is still very much looking to give new players nicknames!
